This is not the usual yoga you would find in an American yoga studio. This is a classical form of Hatha Yoga –  yoga as it has been practiced for thousands of years – from India.

  • In a normal yoga studio here in America, you are typically guided through the class, and are not taught exactly the right way or sequence of how to do the practice.

    When you learn Isha Hatha Yoga, we teach you in such a way that you will know exactly how to do the practice. After the workshop, you would be empowered with a yoga practice that you start to do every day.

  • While most studios offer hour long classes, our classes are workshop style and can take anywhere from 1 hour to 14 hours to learn.

    For example, say you would like to learn Surya Kriya. We typically teach this over 6 hours, 2 sessions of 3 hours each. After learning Surya Kriya, it will take you about 25 minutes to practice on a daily basis.

  • No. These practices come from Sadhguru, a living yogi and mystic.

    We teach these practices exactly as they have been passed down to us, without any distortion.

  • The format of the classes in unlike any yoga class you might have encountered.

    Each practice is divided into segments. We look at each segment with a lot of detail before practicing, either with a video or a live demonstration.

    Then we guide you through the practice.

    After you do the practice we offer corrections so you can refine your practice.

    And then we keep practicing until you fully understand how to do it!

    We also incorporate different techniques, visualization, lifestyle tips and talk about the importance of building a yoga and meditation practice.

    • Have more energy in your day-to-day life to work towards your goals in a steady way with no energy drops.

    • Become more efficient. You will do less but do everything more consciously rather than spending hours on something without the necessary focus.

    • Experience fuller breath. Proper yoga improves the function of all the organs, including the lungs.

    • Establish a routine that starts your day on the right foot. You’ll have a more productive day.

  • All the practices vary in intensity and duration.

  • Yes. if you have any questions or doubts about the practice you can always email, call or text us and we would be happy to help support you.

    We also recommend coming for a review session between 3-12 months after learning the practice so we can help you refine and deepen your practice. We offer regular review sessions and can also schedule privately. For private review sessions we charge $70 an hour, and it generally takes between 1-1.5 hours depending on how much you need to review.
